LGA 1155 (Supports 2nd Gen "Sandy Bridge" Intel Core i3/i5/i7). Intel H67 Express. 4x DDR3 DIMM slots; supports up to 16GB at 1333MHz. Expansion: 1x PCIe x16, 1x PCIe x1, and 2x PCI slots. HDMI, DVI, VGA, 6x SATA ports, and 8x USB 2.0 ports. Performance & Compatibility Review front panel pin order Acer IPISB-VR motherboard

If you try to connect a standard ATX case with individual 2-pin connectors, you’ll need:

: Pin 1 requires the positive wire. Look for a small triangle icon molded onto the back of the plastic connector to verify which wire is positive. 4. Map the Reset Switch (RESET_SW) Action : Attach the RESET_SW cable to Pin 5 and Pin 7 . acer ipisb-vr rev 1.01 front panel

Summary: this document describes the front-panel connector, signals, pinout, LEDs, switches, common troubleshooting steps, and wiring recommendations for motherboards labeled iPSiB‑VR Rev 1.01 (Acer laptops/mini-PCs that use this board). Use this as a practical reference for repair, modding, or replacement front-panel assemblies. Assume your board is labeled Rev 1.01; variations may exist between batches — verify against the board silkscreen and multimeter before powering.

This typically happens when a basic momentary switch (like Reset SW) is crammed onto the wrong pins, causing a continuous circuit loop that forces the motherboard to constantly cycle its power. Strip the header back down and verify each pin location systematically using the chart above. LGA 1155 (Supports 2nd Gen "Sandy Bridge" Intel

Switches (Power SW and Reset SW) do not have strict polarity. They work by momentarily shorting the signal pin to the ground pin. You can plug them in either direction.

, these pins are typically located at the bottom-right corner of the motherboard. Header Layout and Pin Numbering Expansion: 1x PCIe x16, 1x PCIe x1, and 2x PCI slots

Acer IPISB-VR Rev 1.01 front panel header is a 14-pin (actually 13 physical pins, with one missing) connector typically located at the bottom-right edge of the motherboard
