Unless a specific app is broken, stay on the latest version and report bugs to Xiaomi via the Feedback app.
Issue 1: Update Fails or Errors Out ("Installation Aborted")
If your TV is stuck or cannot find the update, you can manually flash it using a USB drive. Prepare USB: Format a USB drive to Download Firmware: Obtain the correct firmware file for the Mi TV 4A Pro 43 from a verified source like the Xiaomi Global Support and place it in the root folder (not inside any folder) of the USB drive. Enter Recovery Mode: Unplug the TV from power. Plug the USB drive into the USB 2.0 (Blue/Upper)
A recurring complaint: After updating to build RTT2.210126.001 or later, the “Auto-update system” toggle in Settings > About > System Update becomes greyed out . You can no longer disable automatic background downloads.
